The Pronghorn antelope is North America’s fastest land animal, found in northern Arizona’s open grasslands and high desert plains. They rely on speed and eyesight rather than cover, often spotting danger miles away. Arizona offers limited tags but produces trophy quality bucks with good horn growth.
Antelope hunting in Arizona has become a rare and unique opportunity for both residents and nonresidents. Shadow Valley Outfitter's knows how difficult these tags are to acquire and knows many hunters have waited 20+ years for the chance to hunt antelope in Arizona. We have been fortunate to harvest trophy caliber bucks with residents and non-residents using archery, muzzleloader, and rifle equipment. We guide all units statewide. We have been fortunate to harvest bucks up to 90 inches and have helped women, men, and children take trophy antelope. Our 5 and 7 day pronghorn hunts range from $3500 to $6500.
We use a combination of spot and stalk, sitting in a blind and using a decoy as hunting tactics. Our success rate on our antelope hunts is at 100% over the last 5 years including archery hunts without sitting water sources.
Effective as of 2022, our Prescott based antelope hunters will have the option to stay in our brand new 800 sqft ranch style casita. The Casita is a complete house with a full bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, and living area for the most comfortable stay during your antelope hunt. The ranch house will also be made available for OTC deer hunts.
